Open: USCF rated: Entry fee: $95 by 5/1/20, $110 by 6/1/20, $125 by 12pm 6/12/20; $140 onsite. Prize fund: 1st $1,400, 2nd $700, 3rd $350, U2400 $250, U2200 $250, U2000 $250 Scott Kittsley Upset Trophy (based on 45).

Reserve (U1800): Entry fee: $80 by 5/1/20, $90 by 6/1/20, $100 by 12pm 6/12/20; $110 onsite

Prize fund: 1st $1,000 + Anarae Schunk Memorial Trophy, 2nd $500, 3rd $250, U1600 $200, U1400 $200 (based on 45) Reserve + Bantam USCF rated only.

Bantam (U1200):  Entry fee: $55 by 5/1/20, $60 by 6/1/20, $65 by 12pm 6/12/20; $70 onsite 

1st $250, 2nd $120, 3rd $80, Top Unrated $60 + Trophies for the top 1st - 3rd K-5 students, 1st - 3rd 6th - 8th grade students, and 1st - 3rd 9th - 12th grade students (based on 20).

Schedule: Five games, Swiss pairings for all sections. Bantam only two-day option.

Three-day option: (Open & Reserve): All games 90 minutes + 30 second increment.

Onsite Registration Friday 5:30pm - 6:30pm Rounds: Fri 7pm; Sat 1pm-6pm, Sun 10am-3pm.

Two-day option: (All sections): Round 1 Game 60 minutes, 5 second delay Sat 10am, then merge with 3-day Round Two at 1pm.

Special Rules: Timeforfits after 30 minutes. Unrated players can play in all sections but can only win the following: Unrated in Bantam or 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the Open (non-class prizes).   

UWS Residence Hall Rentals: Single or Double Rooms w/twin beds available; $20 per adult, $13.50 per youth (under 18 years old). No A/C, bring fan, toiletries. Basic pillows and blankets provided. Check in at the UWS Yellowjacket Union. Registration opens March 1st.

Monday, June 15th “Twin Ports Open After Party” with IM John Bartholomew

Twin Ports Chess Club (1527 Tower Ave. Superior, WI 54880)  opens at 5:30 pm. Interactive lecture by IM John Bartholomew at 6pm. Entry fee is $20 for lecture and blitz tournament - proceeds contribute to Twin Ports Open expenses. 

Twin Ports Blitz Championship: After IM Bartholomew’s special event, join us for our annual  blitz championship. Registration at 6:45pm; Round 1 7pm; IM John Bartholomew is playing!
