When: Saturday, August 19th 2023

On-site Registration from 8:30 am – 9:30 am. The Rapid is limited to 106 players!

Entry Fees: Open (Rated), K-8 (Rated) and Unrated K-8 is $25 by August 10th, $35 by August 17th, after August 17th is $40. The Rated sections will be rapid rated and USCF Membership Required. No Membership needed for the unrated K-8 section.
Time Control: Game in 24 minutes. If using a digital clock, Game in 24 minutes with 5 second  delay.

Rounds: 1st round at 10:00am,  2nd round at 11:15am

 3rd round at 1pm, Rounds 4 and 5 will be paired asap after all games are done. 

Only two Half point(s) bye is available in the first 4 rounds.

Prizes Based on 80 total players : Open section; 1st $175, 2nd $100, U1800 $70, U1500 $60
U1200/unrated $50.

Rated K-8 and Non-Rated K-8; Trophies to top 3 teams, Trophies to top 3 players and medals to 4th through 6th place.

When: Saturday, August 19th 2023

On-site Registration from 5 pm – 5:45  pm. The Rapid is limited to 106 players!
US Chess regular ratings will be used for pairing and prize purposes, but the event is not rated, so the US Chess membership is not required.

Entry Fees: Open and K-8 is $20 by August 10th, $30 by August 17th, after August 17th is $35
Time Control: 3+2 (game in 3 minutes with a two-second increment). Playing both colors each round..

Rounds: 1st round at 6 pm, and pairings are asap after all games are done. We will play five double rounds (ten games of blitz. two against each opponent), and then after the prizes are awarded, players who wish can continue playing casual blitz until 10 pm.

U1200/unrated $50.

The Scholastic K-8 Prizes; Trophies to the top team, Trophies to the top 3 players, and medals to 4th through 6th place.
