A Wisconsin Tour Event!
Important: Due to space limitations the Open section will be limited to 72 players and the Rated Beginner Open (RBO) section will be limited to 44 players.
Format
4 round Swiss Style in two sections. Time Control is G/60; d5 (Game in 60 minutes with a 5 second delay each move.)
USCF rated (dual rated). $$Non-monetary; traveling trophy to 1st place in the Open section, books for class winners.
The tournament is open to all USCF members (see https://new.uschess.org/).
Registration
Registration is available at King Registration
$25 through 2/15 (cutoff is set for 2/16 00:00)
$30 through 2/21 12 p.m. (cutoff is set for 2/21 12:00)
$35 through 2/23 (cutoff is set for 2/23 23:59)
Registration on 2/24 from 8:00-9:15. Half-point bye if registered after 9:15; Groups of 4 or more must preregister; those preregistered should check in by 9:30 to assure pairing. Open to all, no residency required.
Rounds: 10:00; 1:00; 3:30; 6;00.
Open Section - traveling trophy for first place, books for class winners.
Rated Beginner Open Section - players rated under 1200 or unrated. Prizes: Trophies to top 3, book prizes for class winners.
