The 47^th Annual Green Bay Open Chess Championship will be run in 2 Sections:  Open Section (open to all) – Reserve Section (Open to under 1600 USCF Rated and Unrated players).  USCF Membership required.  

Late registrations will be accepted at the playing site from 8:45 - 9:25 am

ENTRY FEES:

Open Section $65; Reserve Section $50 if received by the TD by July 3.  All entries rec’d after July 3 are $10 more, including online, phone, email and at site!

PRIZES:

Open Section Prizes - $1875 Cash Guaranteed Prizes!!

1st Place - $500 + Trophy; 2nd Place - $275.

Expert - $230; 1900, 1800 - $190 each; 1700, 1600 - $180 each; 1599 & below $130; Trophy to Top Junior in the Open Section.

Reserve Section Prizes - $900 Cash Guaranteed Prizes!!

1st Place - $250; 2nd Place - $150; 1200 – 1399 $140; 1000 – 1199 $130; 999 & below $130; Unrated $100.

Trophies to Top Juniors in the Reserve Section Ages 17-18, 15-16, 13-14, 11-12, 10 & under.

SCHEDULE: 5 Round Swiss - 

Rounds:  10:00 AM, 2:30 PM, 7:30 PM (Sat)

10:00 AM & 3:00 PM (Sun)

TIME CONTROL: Game/90 + 30 second increment

½ point bye available in rounds 1, 2, or 3 if requested w/entry.

Boards and sets provided, please bring clocks.
