***Team pairings will be determined by the December Supplement USCF Regular Rating; team's average ratings must be below u2200 Regular Rating and Boards 1-4 must be within 1000 rating points from each other. Even though pairings and teams will be determined by regular rating, the event will be rated as a quick rated event because it is a quick time control event***

5 Double-Rounds of Game 3 minutes + 2 second increment

Blitz games will begin at 6:00pm on Saturday, 1/11/25

Check-in: 5:30-5:45 PM

1st round begins at 6:00pm following subsequent rounds end around ~8:00pm

PLAYERS MUST PLAY ALL BLITZ GAMES/ BYES WILL NOT BE HONORED

Payout 70% Blitz Entries Prize Fund(PF)

1st - 35% PF

2nd - 22.5% PF

3rd - 12.5% PF

The Church parking lot space is limited to ~16 cars

Don't worry about the No Parking signs!

Street parking is free on weekends and generally plentiful

There’s paid parking as well around the UWM Campus

Closest is Union or Lubar Parking Garage $8-10 for the day

Refund Policy: If you register for the tournament and are unable to make it, please notify us at least one hour in advance of the start of round one. If this is done, then Milwaukee Chess will refund your entry fee less the cost of online registration ($1) and payment processing ($0.30 + 2.9% of the entry fee.)
