A Wisconsin Chess Tour Event

Presented in conjunction between the UW Milwaukee Chess Club, IAC, and Growth Chess

Date: October 17th, 2026

Location: UW-Milwaukee Student Union, 2200 E Kenwood Blvd, Milwaukee, WI 53211. Playing hall is the Union Ballroom (W195)

Format: Four Round G/60; d5 Swiss Tournament

Round Times: 10 AM, 1 PM, 3:30 PM, 6 PM | 1 Half Point Bye Allowed, Unlimited 0 Point Byes Allowed

Sections: Premier (1500+), Reserve (1000-1501), Novice (U1000)

Entry Fees:

Premier (1500+): $50 regular, $60 after 10/10, $65 on-site, 

Reserve (1000-1501): $40 regular, $50 after 10/10, $55 on-site 

Novice (U/1001): $35 regular, $45 after 10/10, $50 on-site. 

Premier/Reserve $10 play-up fee is assessed for lower-rated players entering higher sections.

Pairings by WinTD. Accelerated pairings may be used.

Refunds: Contact tournament organizer at least one day before the event. Entry fees less King Registration processing fees will be guaranteed refunded

All minors attending must be accompanied by a supervising adult: a parent, a guardian, or a coach authorized by the minor’s school to supervise the minor. The supervising adult must remain with the minor at all times during the event, per UWM policy on Minor Protection & Adult Leadership.

UWM Union restaurants may be open on Saturday. Restaurants are located within walking distance on Oakland Avenue!
